Icons in page panel

Not all icons need an entire page of explanations so not all are linked.

View webpage


Edit record


Move page


Display Information


Display change History /Un-do


Display Versions - if there are versions it will look something like 


Set permissions for page
- available only to site owners


Create new page after this page


Move page up


Move page down


Hide - hide current page, no one can view it except you in preview. (no link - it's self explanatory)


Show - unhide the current page. (no link - it's self explanatory)


Delete record (!) (no link - it's self explanatory) - you can delete a page only if you created it or you are a site owner.


Move this page to the position after the current parent page (Inwards)


Move this page to be a subpage of the page above (Outwards)

Create New Record, Create new record after this record


Move up in list


Move down in list


Hide - hide current content element, no one can view it except you in preview. (no link - it's self explanatory)


Show - unhide the current content element. (no link - it's self explanatory)


Delete record (!) (no link - it's self explanatory)

Icons for normal copy/paste mode

Not all icons need an entire page of explanations so not all are linked. "Normal" copy/cut/paste is when you are not using Typo3's clipboard features.


Copy Content, Copy pages


Cut Content
, Cut Pages


Paste Content onto (subpage)
, Paste page as a subpage of


Past content at top of current page's content
, Paste Content after this content element, Paste page at top of subpages, Paste page after this page

Icons for Clipboard copy/paste mode

Not all icons need an entire page of explanations so not all are linked.


Transfer the selection of records to clipboard (for content) (for pages)


Edit Marked (Content edit) (Page edit)


Delete record (!) (no link - it's self explanatory)


Mark All/Mark None - this is pretty simple, click to check all the check boxes or click to un-check all the check boxes. (no link - it's self explanatory)
