GameFest
Students came out in the hundreds to enjoy Gamefest!
Gamefest is a LAN party event run by Creighton University’s Division of Information Technology (DoIT), and supported by its sponsors. DoIT wishes to provide a fun, relaxing, and competitive atmosphere in which its students, faculty, and community may share at least once a year.
Not into competitive gaming? That’s perfect! Creighton tries to bring a balance between the competitive FPS, RTS, and causal fun side games like Mario Kart and guitar hero for our casual gamers as well- plus we are always handing out prizes!
Gamefest Spring 2009 was a huge success with over 400 attending and all of our prizes being given away. We had a blast when we got to watch as students and friends were delighted when they won events.
