Campus Email
Creighton Community,
While earlier communications had indicated a fall 2009 release date for JAYmail (Student email), it has been determined that extending the go live date for JAYmail accounts would enable additional time for ongoing testing and work necessary to ensure total stability, support and maturity of JAYmail accounts.
In light of this decision, CUmail will remain the primary email resource for the entire Creighton Community at this time. We are working diligently to develop clear and concise plans and timelines to migrate new and current students into JAYmail. As plans continue to solidify, additional updates will be shared with the Creighton Community.
GENERAL JAYmail specifics:
-Over the summer, students were surveyed about the domain name for the new email system. The result was: name@bluejays.creighton.edu
-JAYmail includes 10GB email space and 25GB SkyDrive
-Creighton graduates would be able to maintain a Creighton email account as alums with JAYmail.
