Creighton University officials are actively monitoring the recent outbreak of swine influenza that has sickened people in Mexico, Canada and other countries, and the U.S.
At this time, Nebraska has had three confirmed cases, two occurring in people who are residents of other states. As in all situations of this nature, Creighton University is working closely with local and state health officials to share information and respond in an appropriate and coordinated manner. A health bulletin (Campus Health Bulletin - Swine Flu) was shared with the entire University on April 27. We will provide further updates as necessary.
Please be alert for flu-like symptoms, and if they develop, please contact your health care provider. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has the latest updates and advice on the flu.
