The EMS Refresher Course is designed to provide current information helpful in providing quality patient care in the emergency medical service setting. The content of the course is based upon the defined requirements as established by the National Registry of EMTs under which all Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (formerly EMT-I) and Paramedics must re-register. Completion of this entire program will satisfy the 48-hour refresher training requirements, sections 1A and 1B for nationally registered paramedics. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians will also be able to attend sessions to satisfy all of their 36-hour refresher requirements. NOTE: All EMT levels are required to submit a total of 72 hours of Continuing Education for national re-registration.

Although this course has been designed to satisfy the requirements for National Re-registration, credit will be awarded to all levels of certified/licensed EMS providers seeking continuing education hour-for-hour of contact.
