ICC significantly impacts the lives of participants by providing the holistic support required to help them enter higher education and obtain a baccalaureate degree.
Annually, the program serves 40 high school students, exposing ethnically and economically diverse young people to higher education and Creighton University.
Each year, two ICC participants are awarded the ICC Scholarship to Creighton University.
Many of our students (65%) indicate Creighton University as their first choice for continuing their education after high school. They are high academic achievers, with an average GPA of 3.6.
Most of the students in the ICC program are first-generation college students (their parents did not attend college). The majority (60%) are also from low-income families. We're here to help future college students overcome the odds, get into college, and become successful.
