The program for the 2009 annual meeting of the Midwest region of the International Studies Association (ISA-Midwest) is now available!
The 2009 annual meeting of the Midwest region of the International Studies Association (ISA-Midwest) will take place November 6-8 in St. Louis, Missouri. This year's conference will highlight roundtables on developing student-scholars, assessing the Obama foreign policy, and nuclear stability. The ISA Midwest will meet in downtown St. Louis, Missouri at the Hilton at the Ball Park. Participants have until October 23 to reserve a room at the conference rate. The deadline for pre-registration is October 16. For visitor' information about St. Louis go to the Explore St. Louis Web site, hosted by the St. Louis Visitors and Convention Commission.
A small subsidy is available to graduate students who present papers at the ISA-Midwest Conference. The application for the graduate student subsidy is available at the Graduate Student Subsidy Form link.
The Central Slavic Conference (CSC), a regional affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies, will be holding their annual meeting jointly with the ISA Midwest. This year's CSC program will highlight several panels in memory of Charles Timberlake. For information, please email CSC President and 2009 Program Chair, Jacek Lubecki.
