Purpose of JayWalk
To strengthen the relationship between the Omaha's Jesuit Institutions of Learning and the community while fulfilling the continuing financial needs of Jesuit Middle School.
Jaywalk is also an opportunity for Creighton Students to involve themselves in the wider community. Every year Jaywalk has numerous Creighton students volunteer to help run the race and register entrants. If you would like to volunteer email csusa@creighton.edu.
Who Benefits?
JayWalk is sponsored by the Creighton University Students Union in cooperation with Creighton University and Creighton Preparatory High School Student Council, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Jesuit Middle School of Omaha.
About the Race
The 5K run/walk was on Saturday, September 20th 2008 at around Creighton's Campus. Jaywalk was able to rise $ 10,360.00 for Jesuit Middle School and is proud to have been able to donate nearly $ 50,000.00 dollars over the course of its history. This year marked the 6th anniversary of the Jaywalk. The race was created to to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Creighton and the special relationship that all three of Omaha's Jesuit School share.
