Policy 3 - Budget Committee

A Budget Committee comprised of the President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, the Vice President for Health Sciences, the Vice President for Student Services, and two Deans will serve on an on-going basis to oversee budget-related issues. Specifically, the Committee's responsibilities will include the review and approval of:

  • Planning and budget policies and procedures
  • University operating plan goals and objectives
  • Annual operating budgets
  • Annual capital budgets
  • New projects or changes to the existing operating or capital budget requested during the year
  • Other budget management-related decisions.

Also attending the Budget Committee meetings is the Budget Director, who will serve in a support capacity to the Committee.
