School and Department Operating Budgets:
The operating budget for the schools and departments will be done in the "General Current Fund (GCF). The Medical School budget will use the General Current Fund (GCF) for the teaching portion of its budget; University Designated Funds (UDF) for its clinic budgets. The feasibility of converting these clinics from UDF to the single operating fund will be evaluated in the future.
Schools and departments are not required to prepare annual operating budgets for grant and contract funds. Grants and contracts are budgeted on a project period basis rather than for the fiscal year.
