How Do I?
The Fixed Asset Accounting Department is responsible for the accurate recording of land, buildings, and equipment on the University’s books. We work closely with the Associate VP of Finance and Facilities Management, as well as the Budget Office to ensure compliance with the University’s procedures. In particular we provide the following services:
- Provide assistance with accounting for construction projects and equipment
- Advice on policy and accounting issues as they relate to construction projects and equipment
- Answer general questions about fixed asset expenditures
- Provide detailed inventory reports and Banner project reports
