Welcome to Creighton and the services offered by the Financial Aid Office. We coordinate the aid opportunities for all of Creighton’s four undergraduate and five graduate/professional schools/colleges, so there are very few students we do not touch. We help to administer over $190,000,000 in student aid each year from federal, state, institutional and private sources.
The material covered on this website is designed to provide you with the background information needed to apply for financial assistance and understand the types of student aid options Creighton offers.

The majority of your questions will be answered there, but if not, always feel free to contact us by using the appropriate e-mail addresses as shown below. We’ll reply to your request as quickly as is possible. Naturally, we’re happy to visit with you personally when the need arises.
Net ID and NEST
Creighton prides itself on offering our students the best service possible by using the latest in technological advantages. Our Self-Service web access, called NEST, is where you retrieve information regarding your academic, financial aid and student account information 24/7. This is where you will register for classes, track your academic class work, accept and track your financial aid, see if your student account is paid, sign up for direct deposit for refunds, and make payments electronically. You can also use this to update your personal information.
Once a student is accepted into Creighton, a NetID is assigned to you by the University. In essence, your NetID at Creighton is the equivalent of your Social Security Number for accessing information and communicating with campus offices and your gateway to NEST. Your NetID is indicated on your acceptance letter and on your Creighton ID card that will be issued to you later. It consists of 3 letters and 5 numbers. Instructions on how to use your NetID and selecting a password can be found below. This is one of the first items of business you need to accomplish.
Your NetID is also your Creighton e-mail address and becomes the official way offices on campus will contact you. For example, most students will receive an e-mail from our office to let them know their award offer is ready for a response. We will also notify you by e-mail if revisions to an original award offer are made. Any questions you have can be sent to us using the e-mail addresses listed below.
Another feature of NEST is your ability to authorize others to access to your academic and financial data at Creighton. This can be useful for a parent, spouse or significant other. Instructions on how to grant access to another person or organization to view one or all of the items in NEST are provided inside this secure web site.
It is a good idea to check your Creighton e-mail account and NEST on a weekly basis. This becomes even more important once a tuition reservation deposit is made, time for class registration comes around and you have filed for financial aid consideration. Simply browse any other information in your account as you please.
Remember, there are many other pieces of information you can access through NEST. Be sure to log onto NEST on a regular basis and correct any out of date information. This insures we can provide you with the best service available.
