Let's face it, you are busy...really busy with school and life. It's hard to think about money matters with so much going on. But it is important to remember that the financial habits you develop now could affect your future finances.
Creighton University recently conducted a survey of undergraduate students. One of the questions asked was "How would you describe your financial health?" The choices were:
(1) I'm in good shape

(2) I'm a little flabby
(3) I'm seriously out of shape.
Over 1000 students responded, 46% considered themselves "a little flabby" and 9% believed they were "seriously out of shape". While 45% thought they were in good shape, we all may need to tone up a bit or train a little harder to help reach our financial goals. How would you describe your financial health?
Whether it is our physical, nutritional, or spiritual health, there may be other choices we can make to take better care of ourselves. When it comes to our financial health, there may be better ways to manage our money. We are not implying you don't know anything about money.
Our goal is to provide you with the tools and resources to help build your knowledge, to help you understand your finances, and to help develop or define your money management skills. We believe this information to be of value, it is not intended to be an all inclusive listing of resources.
