NEST At Creighton
Instructions for first time users
Activate your Creighton account by following these instructions:
1) Go to https://ami.creighton.edu/
2) Click "Activate Account" from the menu.
3) Enter NetID, the one time password sent to you in a prior notification, and birthday.
4) Choose three questions and answers that will be used to reset your account in case you forget your password. Use memorable answers that are unlikely to change and difficult to guess.
5) Enter an alternate (non-Creighton) email address, and optionally a cell phone number capable of receiving text messages.
6) Create your Blue password, following the password guidelines:
use at least 8 characters, including special characters, upper and lower case letters, and numbers.
7) Your account will be activated and you will be informed of your Creighton email address.
Creighton University’s Financial Aid Office is very excited to offer you web-based access to your financial aid information. You can now: check the status of your aid file electronically, accept your aid offer, see what forms we have received or still need, apply for loans and see your aid history at Creighton. We won’t be sending you paper reminders anymore so be sure to check back often.
To access your financial aid information, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Go to www.creighton.edu/finaid and click on the "NEST" link at the bottom of the page.
- On the next screen, click on 'Student/Faculty Login'.
- The following screen asks for your NetID, which is found on correspondence sent to you and on your Creighton ID card. It has 3 letters (usually your initials) and 5 numbers. Remember this ID, you will use it often.
- Use your BLUE password to get in. If you haven't already selected a BLUE password, follow the above activation instructions.
- Review the University’s Terms of Usage, click "continue" to complete the log in process.
- Once at the Main Menu, click on the 'Financial Aid' tab at the top to access your personal electronic file. Here is where all the information about your aid application, both present and past, can be seen. We also provide you direct links to other important websites and forms.
- The next time you access NEST, you won’t even see step 5. You’ll go right to the Main Menu.
- One last thing, remember to log out using the "exit" in the upper right hand. Close the browser too.
Remember, this is your personal information and only you can see it. You are offered the option to allow other people (ie: parents, spouse, scholarship organizations) to view certain academic and/or financial data. Instructions are located inside NEST.
