Creighton Scholarships
Undergraduate Scholarships
Creighton University awards need-based and non-need based academic scholarships to students enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, or the School of Nursing. The dollar amount of these scholarships may vary.
To receive priority consideration for scholarships, you should submit the Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions. The Office of Admissions determines the deadline. The Application for Admission serves as the general University scholarship application. The Admissions Office determines the recipients of these non-need based scholarships. Contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office for more details.
In order to be considered for need-based scholarships, a student must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is no application needed in addition to the FAFSA.

Graduate Scholarships
Scholarships for graduate students are limited. Students should contact the Dean’s Office of the School they are enrolled in for further information.
Athletic Awards
Creighton University awards athletic scholarships for the following sports:
- Men's and Women's Soccer
- Men's and Women's Basketball
- Men's and Women's Tennis
- Men's and Women's Cross Country
- Men's and Women's Golf
- Men's Baseball
- Women's Softball
- Women's Volleyball
- Women's Crew
The Creighton Athletic Department awards all athletic scholarships based upon available funding and a student’s athletic ability. Athletic scholarship awards are valid for one year and can be renewed at each coach’s discretion.
Family Scholarship
The $1,500 grant per academic year Family Scholarship is applicable toward direct tuition costs only, on a term by term basis. Families that have more than one student registered full time in any Creighton college or school are eligible for the undergraduate Family Scholarship program. The remission is available to the second, third and any other immediate family member enrolled in an undergraduate program, when two or more are registered as full-time students in the same term.
Application subject to the following terms:
Immediate family is defined as father, mother, husband, wife, son, daughter, or brother and sister. This reduction is applicable only to students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Nursing (four-year program), University College. The first member of the family may be enrolled in any school/college of the University. However, if the first member is enrolled in the Graduate School, the second and third members will be eligible for the reduction only if the graduate student is registered for eight or more hours in a semester.
Family Scholarship applicants receiving a full-tuition internal scholarship or remission will not be allowed the monetary benefit of any other Creighton University scholarship or remission. If the first member of the family has received a full-tuition internal scholarship, the reduction will not apply to the second member.
