Parents of current, prospective and former students are a key constituent of Creighton University’s University Relations efforts. A new position, Director of Parent Programs has been established, and Diane Glow Stormberg, BSN’80, has been named the first director, providing leadership to the strategic and comprehensive philanthropy program.
Stormberg will work closely with Admissions, Student Life, Alumni Relations and Development to increase opportunities for engagement, including the establishment of a Parents’ Council, and support of programming and communication initiatives
Stormberg began working at Creighton 25 years ago, managing the Creighton Pediatric Department Clinic and has since served as supervisor of clinical research of the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Division. Since 2007, she has served as the administrator of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the Creighton University Human Research Protection Program.
Stormberg also brings extensive experience in volunteer management and community philanthropy to the position, having served as a board member for organizations including the Children’s Hospital Friends Board, the American Red Cross, Duchesne Academy Alumni Board, St. Vincent de Paul School and as a two-term president of the Creighton University College of Nursing Alumni Board.
