ILD 899 On-Campus Residency Opportunities
ILD 899-A: Start the Dissertation Process July 26-27, 2014
The Interdisciplinary Ed.D. Program in Leadership is offering an on-campus residency July 26-27, 2014 for ILD 899-A (formerly ILD 899-1), the first segment of the dissertation process. This residency is a wonderful opportunity to reunite with old friends, make new connections and explore the dissertation process in a community setting.
This course addresses the following:
- What is a dissertation?
- The essentials of the dissertation journey.
- Differences among research designs.
- Selecting a topic.
Attendees receive one credit hour and tuition fees apply. Registration procedures also apply.
For those unable to attend on-campus, ILD 899-A is also offered online.
ILD 899: Dissertation Writing Workshop July 24-27, 2014
This 1 or 2-credit course is meant for students who are near their proposal or have propsed their dissertation. Students will work on their dissertation without distractions during these days. They will be able to review their work and motivate each other. Students also have the opportunity to perform mock-presentations and receive constructive feedback from peers and faculty.
