Preferred Application Deadline for the On Campus Program: Domestic: August 1 for fall, December 1 for spring and May 1 for summer entry. International students should apply at least three months in advance of anticipated start date in order to get all paperwork processed.

Admissions Requirements for the On Campus Program:
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and submit the following documents:

1. Completed application and application fee
2. Two letters of recommendation (please use the electronic rec. process with the online application!). The recommendations should be completed and submitted by persons other than family members who are qualified to assess an applicant's performance in an academic or work setting.
3. Statement of purpose (500-750 words): Based on your CV/Resume and your other application material, we should have a pretty good picture of where you have been and what you have done. Setting that aside, focus on the future: What goals have you set for yourself, looking ahead down your envisioned path? Why is this program attractive to you, in terms of meeting those goals? [A good mission statement will not be a rehash of your CV nor a discussion of how you intend to invest time and effort into your studies; it will look to the future beyond your studies and incorporate your studies as a building block in the future.]
4. A short writing sample in response to the exercise listed on the Admissions Writing Exercise page (1000 words).
5. Resume
6. An interview with a faculty member
6. Bachelor's degree and transcripts for all Bachelors and post-Bachelors coursework. Transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing school and must contain the institution's official seal or stamp. Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. [A 3.0 GPA or higher is required for unconditional acceptance into the program. Students not meeting this requirement may be accepted provisionally.]
7. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): All international applicants from countries in which English is not the primary language must demonstrate proficiency in English language by submitting a minimum TOEFL score of 80 iBT (213 CBT/550 PBT).  International applicants who receive their baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution in the US, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Africa (English-speaking only) are NOT required to submit a TOEFL score report.

Attn: Creighton Law School Students: You are welcome to apply for the NDR program, but you must fill out a Graduate School application, pay the fee, and ask for your Law School application to be sent to us.

Notes:

  • A GRE is not required, but it may be requested or submitted in order to best help us assess your capacity for success in the Program.
  • Although some factors are more important than others, all factors are considered; low ratings on some may be balanced by high ratings on others.
  • Only those applicants who meet the established standards will be recommended for admission.
