Graduate Degrees in Science
Three of our science programs offer PhD degrees (Biomedical Sciences, Medical Microbiology and Immunology, and Pharmacology), with the rest offering master's degrees.
After the Degree
What happens after graduate studies have commenced? Some of our PhD students work as postdoctorates, further enhancing their research, some go directly into an assistant professor role, and others have landed jobs with major pharmaceutical and other industrial companies.
As for the master's graduates, some decide to further their studies and enroll into a PhD program, or they start their career, usually in the field of their master's degree research. By getting a master's in science, graduates have an edge over their peers (who may have just a baccalaureate degree) in landing an advanced position in the science field.
