Audition to become a Jaytalker!

Auditions for the 2013-2014 Creighton Forensics Team will take place Sunday February 17, 2013 at Creighton University. Any high school senior who has applied for admission to Creighton University and has completed the online form for the William Jennings Bryan Scholarship may audition for the scholarship regardless of experience. Students should also submit two recommendation forms postmarked before February 1, 2013. The recommendation form is available at admissions.creighton.edu/apply/forms.

Students should prepare a 3-5 minute piece to perform in front of a panel. The performance may be in a Public Address, Limited Preparation, Affirmative Case, Mock Trial Case, or Oral Interpretation format. Students need not prepare an introduction but should be willing to talk freely about the piece after the performance. Your specific audition time slot will be announced via email by February 10th. The auditions will take place in the Harper Center Admissions Office at Creighton University.

If you are unable to audition in person, we ask that you send a DVD or private YouTube recording of your performance to Prof. Laura Gill, Communication Studies, 2500 California Plaza, Omaha, NE, 68178 or email lauragill@creighton.edu by February 1, 2013.
