Summer Biomedical Research Institute
The purpose of the Summer Research Institute is to increase interest in biomedical and health science professions among underrepresented minority groups. The specific objectives of the program are:
- To enable students to better understand the nature and applicability of scientific research methods.
- To instill confidence in students pursuing careers in biomedical research and other health professions.
- To provide minority students exposure to opportunities inherent in research careers.
