Wireless Access

The Health Sciences Library in conjunction with the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is pleased to provide wireless access. The wireless network consists of several 802.11bg (Wi-Fi) access points located on the first and second levels of the building, providing access to almost all study areas in the library. Instructions for configuring windows and mac based computers are at: http://www.creighton.edu/doit/wireless. If you have questions about connecting other devices, please call the DoIT help desk at 280-1111.

Eight laptops are available for two hour checkout at the Service Desk.  All are wireless ready.

For a faster connection, there are approximately two hundred traditional ethernet jacks located throughout the library. For best performance, use a CAT 5e cable to connect your computer to JayNet. Cables are available for checkout from the Learning Resources Center Services Desk on the second floor.
