Dali at HSL:

The library has been the recipient of a generous donation from Dr. Robert Thune of some works of art by Salvador Dalí.  These items are displayed on the wall by the front entrance.

Mortars and Pestles Collection:

The library has received  from Dr. Sidney Stohs an impressive collection of mortars and pestles for permanent display. 

Other Exhibits at the Library:

The library has a History of Medicine collection with artifacts from the collection scattered throughout the library on display.

This is an antique dental chair which was
donated to the School of Dentistry.  It is now
located at the front entrance of the Library.

Other display cases in this area show antique  army surgical instruments and an optical case with several pairs of glasses.
