Soft tissue thoracentesis model with insert allows for diagnosis of pleural effusion and therapeutic removal of pleural air or liquid. Paracentesis diagnostic and lavage model with insert allows for diagnosis of intraperitoneal bleeding, hollow viscus perforation by changing fluid color and treatment of some forms of peritonitis.
