Multimedia Resources

  • Acland Video Atlas of Human Anatomy - streaming site
  • SpringerImages An encyclopedia of medical images. It has over 48,000 medical images from more than 90 collections and 2,000 contributors.
  • Wilson: Histology Image Review Consists of 20 chapters encompassing cytology, all of the basic histological tissues, and the organ systems. Contains light microscope and electron microscope images.
  • eMedicine Search eMedicine's image collection by changing the radio button to images on their search box. The results displayed include a thumbnail image, the article title, and the image caption.
  • Catalog of Clinical Images From the University of California, San Diego. Pictures of various physical exam findings.
  • AccessMedicine's Image Index - All the images from the textbooks in the McGraw-Hill Access Medicine collection.

    • Use the citation search feature to track citations to your papers or to see who has shown interest in someone else's work.
    • Includes citations to meeting abstracts and book reviews.
  • Clinical Trials.gov
    • ClinicalTrials.gov provides regularly updated information about federally and privately supported clinical research in human volunteers.
  • CRISP replaced by RePORTER, Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tools Expenditures & Results 
    • a searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects.
