  • VisualDX Mobile
    • Go to the VisualDX website
    • Click the get VisualDX free for your Iphone link
    • Complete the username and password request form
    • Follow the instructions in the activation email to install from app store and register to start using VisualDX
  • Micromedex Apps (Drug Information, Drug Interactions, IV Compatibility)
    • Click on Mobile
    • Follow the instructions for Drug each app
    • repeat to get each quarter's password for interaction and compatibility apps
  • Gale Encyclopedias (works best on iPad)

Licensed ipad app

  • Chronicle of Higher Education
    • Go to the Chronicle web site
    • Create an account
    • Install the app from the appstore
    • Use the login and password you created to enable the app

    • easiest -- go to Mobile view of selected titles: http://m.accessmedicine.com
    • harder -- once logged in select small sections to save to pda from any title, view html file with web browser
  • Diagnosaurus is a differential diagnosis tool from Accessmedicine
    • Downloads for Palm, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry are free. Iphone/Ipod costs 99 cents.

    • only works through PDA's web browser
    • must access from Creighton or CUMC's wireless networks

    • use your HBOC Care Manager login
    • must access from CUMC's wireless network
