Job Evaluations/Reclassifications
Process for job descriptions/job reclassifications:
- Manager updates job description via People Admin and submits to Comp Review.
- Compensation Manager reviews position responsibilities and market survey data for appropriate title and grade level classification.
- Compensation Manager contacts Manager to review and make recommendations on grade/title and salary adjustments if necessary.
- Manager completes and submits EAF to HR_Employee_Action_Form inbox.
- Change is processed with the next pay period applicable depending on whether or not the position is Exempt (Monthly) or Non-Exempt (Bi-Weekly).
Turnaround:
Compensation will review positions within 2 days of submission to Comp Review in People Admin and will follow up to Manager within 3 days via e-mail or phone within 3 days of receipt. If you have submitted an updated job description and it's been longer than 3 days, please submit an e-mail to Ronni Beckwith.
