The University started using PeopleAdmin in 2004. Since then, the University's needs have outgrown PeopleAdmin and the hiring model it supports. The new applicant tracking system which is called Taleo is a system trusted by many large businesses and universities alike, and it gives us access to a model and to tools that help us stay on the cutting edge of Talent Management.
The new systems and guidelines we'll put into place will help us find quality employees more consistently. The process of posting a job to our new careers website will be standardized, and job posts will be strategically written to draw the most talented candidates to the university. The system will be streamlined, so the time it takes a candidate to apply will be much shorter than it is today.

The new applicant tracking system is slated to launch October 2, 2017.
Many of you have already posted positions to PeopleAdmin that are actively collecting candidates. Positions will be closed in PeopleAdmin and for those that are still in active recruitment will be re-posted in the new system. Please work with your HR Generalist for specific details around your position.
You will be assigned a single role in the new system based on what tasks you can complete. You will be given a profile in the system that has the most available actions.
Yes, if you are an internal candidate you will need to create a new account using single sign on and create a new application. For hiring managers access will be assigned.
As a hiring manager, you will have access to both internal and external candidates.
Candidate Selection Workflow (CSW) represents the process for managing applicants within a requisition. “Steps” represents the various steps in the hiring process. Status reflects the current status of each applicant within the steps.
Click on the candidate’s name under requisition tab – this will take you to the candidate record. Under more actions, choose change step/status and choose the next step and/or status, as appropriate.
Yes, the application is set to log out users after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Applicants may apply for a position using a mobile device.
