Zero to 30 ProgramWould you like to feel better, have more energy, and improve your relationships? On your mark, get set, GO towards better fitness! Zero to 30 is Creighton’s newest fitness challenge created to help you develop the simple habit of being active for 30 minutes each day CONSISTENTLY!

Brain Power Plate

Brain Power PlateBoost your brain health and lose weight with a healthy eating plan anyone can follow. This 8-week nutrition program will utilize the MIND Diet to help you reach your weight management goals while teaching you to reduce your risk of Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, Heart Disease, and Diabetes. Program includes one on one coaching sessions and weekly group meetings which include discussion, cooking demonstrations, and more! All sessions will be offered on site at Creighton and on an additional day for virtual sessions via Zoom. Choose what works best for you!

Dates: October 1-November 22 | ONSITE: Tuesdays 12:15-12:45 PM | VIRTUAL: Fridays 12:15-12:45 PM
Cost: $25 (cash or check-made payable to Healthbreak)

Take the Stairs: Stepping Through the Decades

Creighton’s annual Take the Stairs Challenge is happening next month! This year’s challenge will be a friendly competition between the decades represented by Creighton faculty and staff. Which decade will take home bragging rights after climbing the most stairs in 6 weeks? You’ll have to join us to find out! 

Challenge includes:

  • Weekly motivational emails featuring the theme of the week
  • Chance for weekly and grand prizes
  • Engagement activities to step together around campus
  • MORE!

The Lifestyle Medicine Clinic at Creighton University

Creighton University is committed to promoting and encouraging a healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff. An embodiment of this commitment was started in 2009 with The Lifestyle Medicine Clinic at Creighton University (formerly the Cardiovascular and Diabetes Risk Reduction Program).

The purpose of this service is to provide a progressive and unique employee health program aimed to prevent, treat, and/or reverse chronic illness through the promotion of healthy lifestyle behaviors (lifestyle medicine). This program strives to improve health and quality of life, reduce health risks, and contain costs associated with chronic disease.
