International Student Orientation
August 13-16, 2013
All international students are required to attend an orientation on the Creighton University campus. The purpose of this orientation is to acquaint you with the university and help your transition from your home country to the U.S. and student life at Creighton University.
The Orientation will begin on Tuesday, August 13-16, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. During this orientation you will receive help and information on the following:
- Meet other campus administrators
- Know about campus resources
- Information regarding your Immigration Status
- Getting your student I.D. card
- Campus tour
- Shopping trip
- Getting your Social Security Number (if will be working on campus)
- Information about banking
- On-campus Student Employment Options
- Trip to the Omaha Zoo
- Meet the International Student Association and join them for ice cream!
Please plan your arrival into Creighton University accordingly so you can participate in this orientation. International students who will be residing in the residence halls will be able to check-in to their dorms on Monday, August 12, 2013.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, please come to the Harper Center, Room 3028 at 8:00 a.m. Please click here to see a campus map.
On the first day, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Airport Pickup for Undergraduate Students
We provide free airport pickup service for new undergraduate students. Students who would like someone to pick them up from the airport should print and complete the the airport request form and send it to us at least seven days before your arrival.
