Travel Abroad Proposal for Graduate & Professional School Students

If you are a graduate or professional school student and planning to go abroad to earn credit, or to fulfill a degree requirement towards your CU degree, you'll need to complete a Travel Abroad Proposal (below). International activity could include research, rotations, internships, or externships. If you are participating in a faculty-led summer program, please do not fill out the form below. Rather for FLPA particpation, please complete the appropriate FLPA Application.


The Travel Abroad Proposal for Graduate/Professional School Student must be submitted to the OIP as least 3-6 months PRIOR to your intended departure. Once received, the OIP will review your academic & disciplinary records to determine your eligibility for study abroad. If approved, the OIP will contact you regarding your next steps (pre-departure forms, insurance, etc.).
