Program Definition: Creighton?s Service Learning Program Abroad, Encuentro Dominicano, is Creighton?s own study abroad program facilitated through a collaborative effort by the Creighton College of Arts & Sciences (CCAS), the Office of International Programs (OIP), the Department of Residence Life, and the Division of Student Services. Students will spend a semester in the Dominican Republic along with other Creighton students; occasionally, students from other institutions participate as well. Courses are taught by the Academic Director and other visiting Creighton faculty members. During the semester, students will spend time in a ?campo? living with a host family and completing a service project. Space on each semester cohort fills fast; if you are interested, submit your Encuentro Dominicano application to the OIP as soon as possible!
