IRHG Members

IRHG Executive Board

The Executive Board consists of 10 full-time members who each run respective committees (made up of Residence Hall Executives), oversee general operations, hold office hours, and exist to be liaisons and advocates for students to the greater Creighton University Administration.

Residence Hall and Apartment Council Executives

Residence Hall Council (RHC) and Apartment Council (AC) Executives consist of about 45 members who run their respective hall councils, serve on various IRHG committees, and provide unique, free programming for students living within the residence halls and apartments on-campus.

Residence Hall Floor Representatives

Floor Representatives make up the majority of the Hall Councils. These near 160 students exist to meet hall specific needs such as programming, hall improvements, and promotion of campus changes to their neighbors.

Founded in 1984, Inter Residence Hall Government (IRHG) is the second largest student government at Creighton University, representing the nearly 2,500 residents living on-campus in residence halls and apartments.  The organization - supported and recognized by the Department of Residential Life - includes an Executive Board and voting General Assembly consisting of residents who serve as the executives of their respective Residence Hall and Apartment Councils.  At weekly General Assembly meetings, held each Tuesday night, issues such as policy, dining services, financial allocations, and programming are discussed.  Beyond serving as a medium through which students' voices are heard, IRHG provides its members with hands-on leadership opportunities.  Additionally, IRHG seeks to improve the on-campus living experience of its constituents in providing programming and taking up issues of concern.

Creighton University?s Inter Residence Hall Government (IRHG) exists to fulfill the following:

IRHG functions as a channel of communication between the residents and the administration. IRHG establishes and facilitates an efficient network of communication encompassing residents, individual Residence Hall Councils (RHCs), individual Apartment Councils (ACs), National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), IRHG, and University administration.

Sponsor student activities.

IRHG commits itself to encouraging a variety of activities for our residents. IRHG strives to build community, celebrate diversity, and promote the social, educational, and spiritual development of each resident.
