About Us
IRHG's Committee for Campus Sustainability serves as the voice of residents' concerns regarding sustainability. Through legislation, programming, and dialogue, the Sustainability Committee strives to forward sustainable efforts on Creighton University's campus.
IRHG has been recognized with the region's first Commitment to Sustainability award for 2011-2012!
**NEW! IRHG's Committee for Campus Sustainability recently wrote legislation to recommend that Creighton University begin an outdoor recycling program. The legislation passed unanimously at the February 23, 2010, General Assembly meeting, and the Recommendation was presented to Facilities Management, Student Services, and Residence Life. In Fall 2010, outdoor recycling was added to Creighton's campus.
