Credits and Grades

Who teaches ISP courses?

Courses are written and graded by Creighton University full-time or adjunct faculty members. Once you have enrolled, you will be assigned to an instructor. The instructor will grade all course requirements and answer any questions you may have about course materials.

Do I receive college credit for ISP courses?

Yes. All courses carry three semester hours of undergraduate credit, except NUR 223, which carries two semester hours.

What is the grading system?

As with our on-campus grading system, A, B+, B, C+, C, and D grades indicate passing, and an F indicates a failing grade. A W indicates officially withdrawing from a course, with no credit. An I indicates work incomplete. Upon completion of a course by the student, the course grade will be reported to the Office of the Registrar at Creighton University and a grade report will be issued to the student.
