Creighton University requires all graduate and professional level students traveling abroad on a university-affiliated program to carry minimum health/travel insurance. The minimum acceptable coverage costs approximately $50.00, although more extensive and comprehensive coverage is available as well.
Students will be enrolled as a group for travel insurance by the Office of International Programs. With the seat deposit (due April 1), students must also submit a second check to the School of Law for the travel insurance.
The insurance will cover the dates of the program, as well as travel dates immediately preceeding and following the program. Students who will be traveling longer have the option to extend their coverage. Students must arrange for this additional coverage with the Office of International Programs (OIP).
