The Career Development Office (CDO) is available to assist alumni with their career and professional development needs. Our office partners with alumni to craft independent job search strategies for legal and non-legal career paths. The CDO staff is available to review resumes and cover letters and offer job search advice. Our office also provides job posting information to alumni.
The CDO encourages alumni to volunteer to serve as career resources for current students by providing career advice or serving on CDO sponsored panels throughout the school year.
Alumni are encouraged to access the student portion of this website to view CDO guides for drafting resumes and cover letters, interviewing, job search strategies and researching legal employers. To obtain the password for protected portions of the website, please contact the CDO (402/280-3094 or firstname.lastname@example.org). Additional resources suggested for alumni can be found here.
The CDO is staffed by Assistant Dean, Tammy King, and Career Development Coordinator, Karen Dixon. Dean King is available for personal appointments with students and alumni to discuss job search strategies, and Ms. Dixon is available to respond to student and alumni inquiries. To schedule an appointment, please call 402/280-3094 or email email@example.com. Due to the needs of current students, appointment times for alumni may be somewhat limited during certain times of the year.
The CDO is located on the second floor of the Ahmanson Law Center. Office hours are Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
