A student is required to maintain a 2.0 (C) cumulative GPA to remain in good standing after the first year and for graduation.
For students and graduates starting law school before August 2006, the grading system is numerical based on a scale of 50-100.
86 - 100.00 | Outstanding - A |
75 - 85.99 | Superior - B |
65 - 74.99 | Average - C |
57 - 64.99 | Below Average - D |
50 - 56.99 | Failure - F |
Grades in the 90s are rare and average grades in each course usually fall in the 73-76 range. A cumulative grade point average above 80 entitles a student to graduate with honors.
