Sherman P. Willis

Sherman P. Willis is an agent for State Farm Insurance. He received his B.A. degree in political science from Grinnell College and his law degree from the University of Iowa, where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review. Prior to joining State Farm, Willis was in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Group and worked in its Omaha legal office. Previously, he was an associate with Fraser Stryker PC LLO. Upon graduating from law school, Willis clerked for the Hon. Henry T. Wingate, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Willis has long been involved with several professional and community organizations, including the Nebraska Minority Justice Committee (Co-Chair, Diversity Subcommittee), Urban League of Nebraska (Chair, Board of Directors), Robert M. Spire American Inn of Court (Barrister), NSBA Young Lawyers Section (Vice Chair, Executive Committee), Midlands Bar Association (Former Treasurer), 100 Black Men of Omaha (Former Board Member), and Omaha Public Library (Former Trustee).
