Professor of Law, received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude with distinction, from Boston University in 1974 and his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 1977. Following graduation, he engaged in research in Japan and at Columbia Law School and then entered private practice. He was a corporate partner at the New York City law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP (1989-2000), where he was co-chair of the Financial Services Group. Prior to joining Creighton he spent two years each as a Senior Fulbright Researcher at the University of Tokyo and as an Associate Research Scholar at Columbia Law School. Professor Aronson's current research focuses on comparative corporate governance.
