Eileen B. Lieben Partnership Award
This award is given to a member of the Creighton community who has actively partnered with the Lieben Center in our programming efforts. As we raise awareness of issues affecting women both on campus and in the global community, we value collaboration with our colleagues at the university in enhancing our mission and better serving the needs of our students. The recipient of this award is an individual who has provided expertise from their area, has been enthusiastic about working with students, and has continued to support the mission of the Eileen B. Lieben Center for Women.
Nora Spencer Student Advocate Award
This award is given to a student in the Creighton community who has made significant contributions to the lives of women students through advocacy, service, and/or programming. The Lieben Center exists for students at Creighton and thrives on the support and involvement of student staff and volunteers. The recipient of this award is an individual who has actively participated in raising awareness, providing education, and promoting the Eileen B. Lieben Center for Women.
Nora Spencer was a Creighton student who graduated in 1999 with a degree in English. She spearheaded student efforts to create a women's center on campus and her work led to the formation of the Eileen B. Lieben Center for women.
