Applying for a Luce Scholarship

Application to the Clare Boothe Luce Undergraduate Scholarship and Clare Boothe Luce Undergraduate Scholarship Research Scholarship by invitation only. If you have not been nominated, please see the information on the selection process.

New Applicants

If you received a letter inviting you to apply for this scholarship and are not currently a Clare Boothe Luce scholar:

Complete the Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship Application.
Identify two people to write letters supporting your application; one should be the person supervising your proposed research project and at least one letter should come from a faculty member in your field of study or a closely-related field (these may be the same person). Provide your letter writers with the Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship Recommendation Form. They should email their letters to AlisonKleffner@creighton.edu.
The deadline for completed applications is February 21, 2024.

Current Scholars

If you are a current Clare Boothe Luce scholar and received a letter inviting you to renew your scholarship:

Complete the Clare Boothe Luce Renewal Application.
Identify two people to write letters supporting your application; one should be the person supervising your proposed research project and at least one letter should come from a faculty member in your field of study or a closely-related field (these may be the same person). Provide your letter writers with the Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship Recommendation Form. They should email their letters to AlisonKleffner@creighton.edu.
The deadline for completed applications is February 21, 2024.

Letter Writers

If you were asked to write a letter supporting a woman applying for a Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship:

Either download and complete the Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship Recommendation Form or prepare a separate letter. The form provides information on what information we would like writers to be sure to address in their letters.
Completed letters of recommendations should be returned by email to AlisonKleffner@creighton.edu.
The deadline for letters is February 21, 2024.
