The spirituality component of Magis Catholic Teacher Corps is guided by the practices and traditions of Ignatian Spirituality.  Magis teachers value the growth of their own faith and spirituality and, in turn, offer spiritual support to members of their community.

Magis offers group prayer and reflection, individual spiritual direction, retreats, and other modes of support to encourage the spiritual growth and development of each teacher throughout the duration of the program.  Each month, the Magis chaplain meets with the community for faith-sharing.  The Magis director also attends mass and shares a meal with the community once a month.

Magis is a member of the University Consortium for Catholic Education (UCCE). This consortium seeks to establish and support a growing cadre of colleges and universities as they design and implement graduate teaching service programs. If the Magis program does not meet your specific needs or interests, please consider applying for one of the other 14 UCCE member programs.
