Dermatology
The Division of Dermatology at Creighton University School of Medicine has a strong commitment to patient care and education. The division lectures to all fourth-year medical students and also completes rotations with internal medicine and family medicine residents. There are also additional opportunities for students and residents to be involved with medical writing and independent research with guidance from faculty member Christopher Huerter, MD.
Patients receive comprehensive care of the skin, hair and nails at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. The division offers outpatient surgery and laser therapy, among other therapies.
Faculty members also support the community by providing education and screenings for skin cancer and mole checks.
