About Craig Zimmer
I am a Nebraska native, growing up in Mason City, in the rural central part of the state. I am a Creighton alum and very happy to be back working at my alma mater and in my home state, near people and places that are very dear to me.
My wife, Margaret, and I both did our graduate studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I also worked in Campus Ministry, and now we both work here at Creighton. She is the Assistant Director for Greek Life in the Student Activities Office, so you have a pretty decent chance of running into one of us around campus!
The majority of my campus ministry experience has been in retreats and I have very much enjoyed working with the retreat program at Creighton. Our lives are so busy and we live at such a breakneck pace, the opportunity to take a step back and enter more intentionally and deeply into some of the big questions that confront us as children of God seems to be becoming both more rare and more important. As every new year begins, I look forward to walking with Creighton students along that journey of reflection and discovery!
Oh, and fall is my favorite season. Just to be clear: Go Huskers and Go Packers!
