Confirmation
For Catholic college students who have celebrated the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist and are participating in a community of faith, we offer the opportunity to prepare for and celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation by participating in Creighton's Campus Ministry's Confirmation process.
Weekly meetings during the second semester will provide a review of important elements of our Catholic faith rooted in our baptism. These sessions, led by your peers and supported by Campus Ministry staff, guide students wishing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in appropriate adult catechesis while encouraging personal spiritual growth and discernment by fostering an environment of community, discussion, reflection, prayer, and service. There are also opportunities for service and a retreat.
The first session for 2013 will be an information meeting held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 5:00P.M. in Campus Ministry.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated Saturday, April 27, 2013 during the Saturday 5:00P.M. Mass with the St. John's/Creighton Community.
