Confirmation
For Catholic college students who have celebrated the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist and are participating in a community of faith, we offer the opportunity to prepare for and celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation by participating in Creighton's Campus Ministry's Confirmation process.
Eight weekly meetings will provide a review of important elements of our Catholic faith rooted in our baptism. These sessions, led by your peers and supported by Campus Ministry staff, guide students wishing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in appropriate adult catechesis while encouraging personal spiritual growth and discernment by fostering an environment of community, discussion, reflection, prayer, and service.
The meetings begin the third week of January and continue throughout the semester. The Sacrament of Confirmation is then celebrated with the St. John's/Creighton Community at a Sunday Mass during the Easter season.
