St. John's is discerning a new hardbound hymnal!
Please give the subcommittee your input through the Hymnal Survey.
The hymnal subcommittee is comprised of 17 people representing every weekend musical ensemble and Mass time at St. John's, the Liturgy Committee, and pastoral staff. They are considering samples from OCP, GIA, and WLP. Any of St. John's repertoire that is not included in a hardbound hymnal would be printed in an annual St. John's Supplement.

HOW DO I JOIN?

To ask about joining Candlelight Choir, contact the student leaders.
To ask about joining music ministry for the Protestant Service, contact Dr. Ashley Hall.
Join the Music Ministry mailing list to receive all the information you need to take an active part in our celebrations. You'll get weekly updates with the upcoming music ministry calendar and music selections, as well as occasional opportunities to sing at short-notice liturgies like funerals.
But what if my schedule changes? Great question. Music ministers are welcome to switch between the non-auditioned ensembles!
How do I find the St. John's music room? The music room is right behind the tabernacle. If you're facing the altar from the pews, go through the sacristy on your right or the resource room on your left. There's a small hallway connecting them behind the tabernacle, and that's where the door to the music room is!
