Jenna Wilcox

Jenna Wilcox (CU alum '07 pictured in red) is beginning her second year as a volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteers International. She is spending her time in Nicaragua.

"I have been finding a lot of joy in work lately. Throughout my first six months I found myself in constant ups and downs about the reality of those at Pajarito Azul. One day feeling the amazing spirit they all have, and the next day realizing the great injustice that exists in the way that they are so hidden from the rest of society. One day running around with so much to do, and the next feeling completely useless. But I have found the ups and downs to smooth out as I develop relationships with not only the people of Pajarito, but also the wonderful women who care for them. There is something very sacred about their presence in my life."

Lindsey Anderson

Lindsey Anderson (pictured at left, CU alum '03).  After graduation she served with the St. Joseph Workers in Minneapolis before spending 2 1/2 years serving in Honduras with Farm of the Child.

"This is a call to each of us to live as missionaries wherever we are and in whatever we do."
