Service and Justice Trips

Taking a week out of your college life to risk meeting a whole new group of people doing unusually fun and challenging service and work for a sustainable and just planet seems crazy!

Try it! You’ll like it!

Begun in 1983, the 2008 trips were the 26th year of the Spring Break Service Trips program at Creighton University. This year we sent a record 232 participants to serve and learn with 29 community partners around the country, including 20 participants to the Hurricane Katrina Gulf Region of Mississippi and Louisiana.

Holly Fuller, Creighton '03 grad, spoke at the 2009 send off service, sharing her reflections on doing and being.

Emily Warming, Creighton '06 grad, shared her thoughts with the Fall Break Service Trip participants.  Here are her reflections, "How to be a Guest in a New Culture and Community."
