Native American Celebrations & Traditions at Creighton University

The Creighton campus has several long-standing events and traditions focusing in on the celebration of Native American culture and life.  These events are coordinated by various offices at the University for students, faculty, and staff to participate in and build our campus community.

 

DrumAll Nations Pow-Wow - Annually presented by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Native American Association (NAA)

 

Welcoming Ceremony - Welcoming Cedar Ceremony annually presented during Welcome Week for all New Native American students and their families

 

Bucko Potluck Dinners - Several times each semester the Creighton Native American community breaks bread together

 

Graduation Ceremony - Graduation Cedar Ceremony annually presented during Senior Week for all graduating Native American students and their families
